Estos seres siempre me han encantado... encadenados a la noche y a la sangre, de sentidos agudísimos y tacto de hielo. Quién podría no enamorarse de una historia de vampiros?
La úlima que leí fue la serie Twilight (traducida como crepúsculo) de cuatro libros de Stephenie Meyers. Estos libros cuentan la historia de una chiquilla que se da cuenta de que una familia de vampiros vive muy cerca.
Son novelas del estilo Jovenes-Adultos, es decir que los libros pretenden narrar la historia y entretener y solamente eso. Pero la autora es tan buena haciendo eso que además de publicar ya estos cuatro libros y estar trabajando en el quinto ya vio el primero de ellos convertido a la pantalla grande.



Yo estoy muriendo de ganas por ver la película que aun no llega a Costa Rica, pero que fue un éxito en estados unidos.
Dejo super recomendados los libros y además acá está la página oficial de Meyers en la que ella cuenta sobre sus novelas y deja además algunos posts muy interesantes sobre la música que la inspiró y los autos que sus vampiros manejan...

El ver un foro como EvForo.Net dedicado 100% a la banda no pasaba mas de las mentes de los ya mencionados fans.

Hemos pasado por muchas situaciones buenas en su mayoria (desde Los Calzones Awards, hasta el Karaoke) pero una que otra situacion no muy alentadora (en el primer mes solo recibimos 1186 visitas, ademas de que por un error mio se perdieron casi 10.000 mensajes :toothy3:) .

El 2008 fue un año bastante alentador, 248 miembros registrados, 42.739 mensajes publicados, 1.199 temas, mas de mil visitas diarias, somos el sitio # 970,352 a nivel mundial segun Alexa (esto es excelente, imaginense la cantidad de sitios de internet que existen, deben ser millones), superamos las 500.000 visitas unicas (sip, en menos de un año), 10,488,002 paginas fueron vistas.

El 2009 sera un año mejor, sera nuestro primer aniversario, tenemos mas meses (lol) para duplicar esas estadisticas, tenemos muchas sorpresas en mente, y en definitiva mas fans se uniran a esta gran familia.

Si bien es cierto el futuro de la banda es incierto, pero el nuestro es seguro (si Dios quiere); aun asi pase lo que pase con la banda, los fans de habla catellana tendremos un espacio para venir y formar parte de un foro, de un grupo de amigos, y de una familia, la familia de EvForo.

Dicen que la mujer perfecta no existe, y que las relaciones entre las personas siempre son complejas y tienen sus pormenores, pero un científico de origen japonés pasó de soñar con la chica ideal… a construirla. El hombre, de 33 años, es especialista en robótica y construyó su primer robot a los 8 años, aunque éste es el primero que tiene por novia.

Le Trung es un científico japonés radicado en Ontario, Canadá, y su especialización es la programación de software y en robótica, y lleva dos años trabajando en su creación más importante: una mujer robot, Aiko.




“No necesita vacaciones, no come, trabaja casi 24 horas al día. Es la mujer perfecta”, declaró Trung al tabloide inglés The Sun. “Hasta ahora, puede entender y decir 13 mil frases en inglés y en japonés, así que es bastante inteligente”, convino el inventor.

Otras de las tareas de Aiko incluyen los quehaceres de la casa de su creador, y llevar sus finanzas: “ella hace todas las cuentas y no se queja nunca”, según Trung. La inusual pareja toma paseos, y cuando van a un restaurante Trung come y Aiko lo mira. Pero en cuento a las relaciones sexuales entre ellos, el científico explica que no está construida para ser una compañera sexual, pero puede ser “reprogramada para serlo”.



Trung lleva invertidos 14 mil libras en su novia robot, según publicó el sitio británico, y además del costo monetario le costó un ataque cardíaco a su inventor el año pasado. “Los doctores me dijeron que estaba haciendo demasiado”, explicó Trung, pero declaró confiado: “Puede que necesite que Aiko me cuide algún día”.



Le Trung declaró a los medios que había construido a Aiko porque no tenía tiempo para salir con una mujer real, pero al parecer sí tenía dos años para dedicarle a su robot...

Les cuento que recientemente haciendo una tarea de la U di con información sobre otra cosa que tiene poco o nada que ver con casi cualquier otra cosa en la que uno pueda pensar mientras hace una tarea.
Resultó que di con el batik!!
Esta es un técnica para teñir telas! Y descubrí que es todo un arte! Para hacer el diseño en cuestión se cubre con una mezcla de cera y parafina las zonas de tela que NO se quieren teñir y luego la tela se sumerge en el tinte. Luego cuando la parafina es retirada uno obtiene el diseño deseado. Suena sencillo pero de seguro yo jamás lo lograría! Algunas personas quiebran la parafina antes de tenir la tela para que se formen líneas de tinta como en la imagen del inicio que es un Batik rústico, pero hay otros estampados mucho más complicados. Por ejemplo?


Sé que deben estar pensando que soy muy ingenua y que ese diseño es un estampado logrado con alguna prensa... PUES NO!

Esa especie de lápiz-pipa que ven ahí es donde se pone la cera y con el que se hace el dibujo...
Así que ya saben! Si algún día van a India, Sri Lanka, Irán, Tailandia, Indonesia o Malasia, comprense un batik!!!!!! Son bellísimos! No sé si tienen curiosidad sobre por qué postee un blog, sea que tengan curiosidad o no igual les contaré... hoy el hombresito de traje rojo que se esconde dentro de mi monitor me escribió una nota. Me dijo que ya habían pasado 181 días desde que me uní al foro y que por lo tanto debía cambiar mi contraseña. (el cambio de contraseña es irrelevante en mi historia así que solo vamos a ignorar esa parte) El hombrecito de rojo no me lo dijo con esas palabras exactamente, usó palabras más frías y generales que pudieran haber sido aplicadas a mi tanto como a cualquier otra persona. Pero sé que en el fondo el hombrecito no es así. Sé que es dulce y cariñoso con su familia, a la que ve poco porque casi nunca salgo de mi casa el tiempo suficiente para que él escape a verlos... Sé que es buena persona pero que su trabajo (poner todas esas imágenes y letras en mi pantalla) le exige fingir que es frío, serio y lejano... PERO NO ES SOBRE EL HOMBRECITO DE ROJO DEL QUE QUIERO HABLAR! Iba a contarles por qué abrí un blog!
La razón es que el hombrecito dijo que ya han pasado 181 días desde que me uní al foro!!! 181 días! Es un tiempo razonablemente largo, creo que ya la mayoría me conoce y ha visto mi avatar por ahí... creo que por eso es el momento de dar el siguiente paso. Que es dejar que me conozcan un poco más y ya no encasillados en los temas que el hombrecito escribe a manera de títulos en la parte superior de mi pantalla cuando ando por el foro.
Es momento de que yo elija mis propios temas, esos que jamás serían buenos para abrir un tema del foro porque posiblemente tratan de situaciones que solo han pasado en mi cabeza o, con un poco de suerte, en la cabeza de algún gato callejero o algún zapato roto.
Así que abriré un blog para contarles un poco sobre lo que tengo por dentro... y tal vez algún día hable también de lo que tengo por fuera... y Uds mis queridos lectores (siempre quise usar esa frase! "mis queridos lectores"... es tan cálida!) podrán elegir qué partes de mi "YO" quieren conocer.
Y tal vez, algún día alguno quiera dejar un mensaje por aquí, para que así yo pueda fingir que alguien lee lo que pieso y uds pueden fingir que leen lo que otros piensan... Simbiosis hermosa!

Así que, básicamente este será mi mensaje de bienvenida a todas aquellas personas que por curiosidad o error llegan hasta mis mensajes.
Pretendo dejar aquí cosas que me han interesado o impactado de alguna forma. Pequeños detalles que siento que me hacen más personas y menos "solo humana"... historias, imagenes, definiciones y demás cyber-objetos que me han sacado un poco de la ignorancia y me han enseñado algo sobre lo que existe fuera de mi pequeño micro-cosmos.
